The main responsibility of the Distribution Engineering Supervisor is to supervise the distribution engineering team. As part of the role, you will also assist with the analysis and management of distribution and transmission systems, including plant and customer developments, power quality analysis, customer-facing engineering work through the technician team, design and equipment standards, and operations coordination.
The Organization’s Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and direct the day-to-day activities of the distribution engineering work group. Analyze the work for technical accuracy, priorities, conformance to District policies, standards, drafting practices, and feasibility of construction and maintenance.
- Completes or supports underground and overhead plant design as well as transmission system improvements.
- Works with customers to resolve issues related to electric service quality, such as power quality metering and metered data analysis.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Interviews, employment, training, and staff development, planning, allocation, and work direction; Performance monitoring; Rewarding and punishing employees; And resolving grievances and resolving issues are all responsibilities of this role in the engineering department.
Education and/or Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of progressive experience working in a technical field.

$109,630.00 – $164,446.00 Annually
